This year, the culmination of International School Week just happened to fall on the eve of Singapore’s National Day (actual day is on Aug 9th!) so we decided to celebrate such, and actually, make it an annual event from hereon as our way to pay further homage to the country our school is named after.
There was still Day 3 of IS Week where another batch of Parent Speakers came to school to share more about Italy, Japan, South Korea and Australia!
Surmise everyone got their poster invite released today? For this is one of the most anticipated school events of the year that gathers SSC families together, happening this September 2014!
Now Day 2 of IS Week was most memorable because of the Parent Speakers who came to school to share more about their native countries. From Malaysia to France to China, from Sri Lanka to the US of A to Turkey!

They came and they saw! Last 24 July, Parents of our Lower Primary School pupils got to catch a glimpse of how their children are faring in class and when the kids were asked in the end what’s one word that would best describe how they feel about school so far, they chose the word: “Happy”!
