We are so proud to share the results of our first-ever attendance of the Harvard Model Congress Asia (HMCA) held virtually last 08-10 January 2021. SINGAPORE SCHOOL CEBU’s delegation turned out to be the Philippines’ winningest, grabbing 4 individual awards and 1 group award. Congratulations to: 1) Andre Quiokoles, S4 (Best Delegate – CIA) 2) MJ Cobrito, S3 (Honourable Mention – CIA) 3) Bede Matteo Capulong, S4 (Honourable Mention – House Science, Space, and Technology) 4) Eddie Onglatco, S4 (Best Delegate, Senate Foreign Relations) Eddie Onglatco also co-authored a Bill that was presented to the Presidential Cabinet. Special mention goes to the rest of the 14-Pupil Delegation for pouring in the hard work, and not letting being a novice stop them from giving their best! Thanks to events like HMCA, the youth do get to open their eyes more and learn how to speak up… for a better world! And despite the disruption brought about by this COVID-19 pandemic, we are grateful for our Pupils to be able to grab new opportunities for growth and extraordinary discoveries!
