Last 07 Dec 2023, our School President personally received the plaque of recognition from Mandaue’s Department of Education for SINGAPORE SCHOOL CEBU being an active stakeholder as a result of its outreach programmes in Umapad Elementary School. And with it are pictures from the recent visits and interactions our Secondary 1 and 2 cohorts recently had with their FRIENDS from Umapad, who are the actual beneficiaries of SSC’s feeding programme.
As our SSCians returned from the visit, their hearts were brimming with newfound connections and memories they will always cherish. Some say such experience has been transformative and provided a concrete example of how their minds can be shaped into becoming the ‘caring and compassionate global citizens who recognise the positive role they can play’ that we often make mention of.
