SMALL CLASS SIZE

There are no more than 10 pupils in a PreSchool class; no more than 20 pupils in a Primary and Secondary class.

SPECIAL TIME

Included in a Class’ Weekly Timetable is Special Time which allows additional time for Pupils to finish schoolwork or other areas of study or development that needs more attention. This includes play and socialisation.

TEACHING MODEL

Teachers are trained to employ SSC’s 4-Step Teaching Model that fosters enquiry and future-proof learning.

NO HOMEWORK POLICY

This is applicable for PreSchool & Primary School. Secondary & Pre-University have homework to prepare them for higher education.

TRILINGUAL EDUCATION

English is the primary medium of instruction while Mandarin is a core subject. Conversational Filipino is also part of the curriculum starting in Primary School.

TOP QUALITY FACILITIES

The campus is kept clean and well-maintained with security cameras throughout.

All classrooms and indoor facilities are air-conditioned.

Campus improvements and modifications were made to mitigate the risk of virus transmission as a result of the Covid pandemic, i.e. overhead thermal scanners, air purifiers and vents in classrooms to improve IAQ (Indoor Air Quality).

HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT

Foundation Subjects include Arts, Music, PE, which run 1x a week.

Optional Co-Curricular/Extra-Curricular Activities & other After School Programmes run at least 1x a week.
