Our Kinder 2 Pupils have been exploring one of their favourite topics during PIAZZA TIME: AEROPLANES and flying! And thanks to Captain Jithin and Ms Jasmine Jin from our school community, we were able to extend and provide hands-on learning for our PreSchoolers when we visited Continental Aero Flying School at Mactan International Airport last 18 May! ‘I want to be a pilot!’ ‘Flying a plane is so cool!’ ‘Aeroplanes fly because of their engines and wings.’ ‘I love the simulators. It’s like flying a real plane!’ This out-of-campus trip to the hangar really brought on wide eyes, listening ears and jaw-dropping expressions as kids learnt more about this mode of transportation. Now everyone wants to fly, be a pilot, or even an astronaut! Thank you to our community for being our co-Teachers c/o such activities.
